ZStack Cloud Platform
Single Server Deployment with Full Features, Free for One Year
May 28 – A delegation from Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) and BoardWare Information System Limited, accompanied by ZStack’s strategic partner info2soft, visited ZStack’s headquarters for a collaborative exchange. The meeting was hosted by Frank Xiao, General Manager of ZStack International, and CTO Damon Wang, along with their core team. The three parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cloud-native transformation in the power industry, VMware alternatives, and AI computing infrastructure, aiming to map out a blueprint for the digital evolution of the energy sector.

During the meeting, Frank Xiao extended a warm welcome to the representatives from CEM and BoardWare and provided an overview of ZStack’s development history, core technology stack, and global footprint. As a leader in enterprise-grade cloud computing, ZStack has built a full-stack cloud product line centered on ZCF (ZStack Cloud Foundation), covering virtualization, hyper-convergence, private cloud, and AI computing. With over 5,000 projects successfully deployed across more than 30 countries, ZStack has accumulated extensive expertise in critical industries such as power, finance, and manufacturing. Frank highlighted ZStack’s tailored solutions for the power industry, which address common pain points—such as fragmented system operations and complex AI resource scheduling—by providing a “unified governance, smooth evolution” path to help power enterprises achieve efficient IT infrastructure management.
In the technical session, CTO Damon Wang focused on the latest progress and future roadmap of ZStack Cloud and the Zaku container platform. He noted that the ZCF solution enables unified management of heterogeneous resources. Through core components such as the ZHera unified portal, ZMetis intelligent O&M, and ZMigration tools, ZStack helps enterprises complete the transition from VMware to ZStack without business disruption. Furthermore, he introduced the ZStack AIOS (AI Operating System), a platform providing full-stack AI capabilities—from computing power scheduling and model training to inference deployment. Supporting mainstream large models like Qwen and GLM, the platform meets the power industry’s needs for intelligent dispatching, equipment inspection, and fault prediction, providing a solid foundation for the sector’s intelligent transformation.
The discussion also covered key issues in the digital transformation of the power industry. CEM representatives shared their current IT architecture and transformation requirements, with a focus on multi-site resource management, data security compliance, and the implementation of AI-driven operations. Leveraging the existing ZStack Cloud deployment at CEM, the ZStack team demonstrated how the ZCF platform achieves unified governance across main sites, testing zones, networking, monitoring, security, and AI capabilities. The team emphasized an “evolutionary, non-disruptive” approach to ensure the stability of production operations. BoardWare, as a leading IT service provider in Macau, discussed the localization and promotion of cloud platforms within the local power sector. All parties agreed that as a critical information infrastructure, the digital transformation of the power industry must balance stability, security, and innovation. They committed to deepening technical collaboration to create customized solutions for the power industry in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.
At the conclusion of the visit, ZStack held an awards ceremony. Frank Xiao presented the “Value Co-Creation Award” to CEM, recognizing their trust and exploration in cloud-based power industry practices. Damon Wang presented the “Technical Excellence Contribution Award” to BoardWare, honoring their outstanding contributions to local technical implementation and ecosystem synergy.

Looking ahead, ZStack remains committed to addressing the core needs of the power industry. By leveraging innovative technology and working closely with ecosystem partners, ZStack will continue to provide efficient, secure cloud infrastructure and AI computing services, empowering CEM and other energy enterprises to achieve high-quality development in the digital era and create new industry value.
