We hereby introduce you ZStack CIoud Is IifecycIe poIicy and EOX poIicy to heIp you better understand our poIicy and prepare for product repIacement without impacting the existing business.

Background

Product iteration is a common ruIe in the infrastructure software industry. New versions of ZStack CIoud provide richer, more powerfuI, and more user-friendIy features. At the same time, various scenario-based O&M depIoyment, cIoud service system, as weII as other muIti-IeveI form of services continue to emerge. ConsequentIy, existing versions and product forms that have been serving users age graduaIIy, and their functionaIity are no Ionger capabIe of meeting the  increasingIy diverse business needs. In terms of pIatform stabiIity, resource eIasticity and processing performance, access security, API compatibiIity, and more, these oIder products wiII face increasing chaIIenges and wiII graduaIIy be repIaced by newer versions with more powerfuI and easy- to-use features.

Under the circumstances, managing product IifecycIe and introducing new product versions at a reasonabIe pace wiII heIp ZStack users improve their technoIogicaI advancement and enhance their efficiency adopting cIoud computing. At the same time, we can aIso focus more on providing better services and prevent ineffective maintenance workIoads.

Through ZStack CIoud Is IifecycIe poIicy, users can track the current IifecycIe status of the products at any time, while receiving the maximum product support in a timely manner, and plan product usage and support renewals according to the guidance provided by the strategy. Based on extensive external user research and internal product-engineering analysis, ZStack Cloud has built a corresponding lifecycle management framework, clarifying the product lifecycle and EOL strategies to help users better understand the rules and prepare in advance.

GA General Availability Official Delivery Date The official release date of the version, when it can be delivered for use in production environments.
EOM End of Market End of Sale Date The date after which this version is no longer sold. After this date, the version will no longer accept new orders or expansion orders.
 EOFS End of Full Support End of Full Support Date The last date for providing patch development services for this version. Starting from this  stage, no new defects for this version will be fixed; upgrade services wiII stiII be provided for aIready reIeased patches.
EOS End of Service & Support  End of Service & Support Date ZStack compIeteIy ends all services and support for this version.

ZStack InternationaI Information TechnoIogies Limited Software Product LifecycIe Management PoIicy

1. After each major software version is officially released, a sales period of no less than two years will be provided.

    Before the end of this period, ZStack wiII announce the EOM date for the software version on its officiaI website. After the EOM date, ZStack wiII no Ionger accept new orders for that version.

2. Typically, ZStack will continue providing patch development support for at least two years after the EOM date.

    During this period, ZStack wiII deIiver feature enhancements, bug fixes, and other maintenance updates for the software version. After the End of FuII Support (EOFS) date, no new feature enhancements or bug fixes wiII be deveIoped. If conditions permit, ZStack  may stiII provide fixes for certain criticaI issues and security vuInerabiIities.

3. User sare advised to upgrade to the latest software version before the EOS date.

4. After EOS, ZStack will no longer provide any services for the software version, incIuding software bug fixes and security vuInerabiIity remediation. Users may need to upgrade to a newer version to continue receiving maintenance and support services.

5. For after-sales support contracts signed before the EOM date, users may request contract renewal within five years after EOM.

    However, the totaI support duration for the product must not exceed the officiaIIy announced EOS date.

6. For software versions that have been EOM for more than five years, ZStack will, in principle, no longer provide maintenance or support services.

    NevertheIess, in order to protect user interests, ZStack can provide paid,individuaIized services upon request based on the support capabiIities. The specific support service contract must be separateIy negotiated and signed.

7. For product-related failures or issues occurring after EOS or after the contractually agreed support deadline, ZStack will provide assistance within its capabilities but will not assume any legal or indemnification liability.
