Business Background

The existing architecture could not meet the informatization needs. As the group expanded, investments in informatization increased, and critical applications faced significant challenges, such as rapid business expansion, limited maintenance time, high availability requirements, and the need to reduce energy consumption. The group urgently needed an informatization reform. At this juncture, Alibaba Cloud, in collaboration with ZStack, provided XCMG Group with a hybrid cloud solution. By deploying ZStack’s hybrid cloud, XCMG Group’s business scenario requirements were successfully addressed.

Solution Deployment

• ZStack’s comprehensive cloud computing solution integrates servers, storage, and networks while interfacing with Alibaba’s public cloud. It fully utilizes Alibaba’s public cloud platform resources, enabling one-click migration of cloud hosts to the cloud, backing up cloud hosts to Alibaba’s public cloud, or using Alibaba’s public cloud as a disaster recovery center.
• ZStack offers an intelligent operation and maintenance solution. Through the cloud management platform, it provides operational management, maintenance monitoring, and CMDB for the hybrid cloud, assisting XCMG Group in intelligent operation and maintenance management.
• ZStack’s enterprise-level distributed storage solution stores data as replicas on different physical servers to ensure data security. It ensures business continuity through HA and live migration. When cloud computing platform resources or space are insufficient, the resource pool can be expanded horizontally and vertically without affecting business operations.
• After extensive testing and validation, ZStack’s stability and ease of use were recognized. The hyper-converged solution met the requirements for rapid resource delivery and high business availability. Additionally, by providing account management and resource quota allocation, it significantly reduced the workload of maintenance personnel.
